Why do we develop Food Intolerance

Our immune system is our defence mechanism against any non-self/ foreign substance / invader.
When body’s immune system mistakenly detects food/food ingredients we eat as foreign to the body, we develop food allergy.

Symptoms

The common allergy symptoms can be:

• a runny nose or sneezing.

• feeling or being sick.
• swollen eyes, lips, mouth or throat.

(Anaphylaxis causes the immune system to release a flood of chemicals that can cause you to go into shock — blood pressure drops suddenly and the airways narrow, blocking breathing. Signs and symptoms include a rapid, weak pulse; a skin rash; and nausea and vomiting.)
